Summer Worship Schedule

This summer we are going to have one worship service at 9:00a.m. followed by a coffee hour. The service will be a contemporary liturgy called "Tree of Life". Music will be provided by our traditional and contemporary musicians from week to week. I am excited about this opportunity to have our entire congregation worship together. While I appreciate our two expressions of worship, it will be nice to make a change just for the summer time. The change will take place on June 24th--Sept. 2nd, so come to church at 9am and join us in the fellowship hall afterwards for coffee and fellowship.

Church Picnic

Sunday, June 10: Mt. Si’s Church Picnic, 12 pm at the church. We’ll have barbecues available for hot dogs, burgers, or whatever you choose to bring and grill, and members are asked to bring salads and desserts to share. Activities/games are planned for children in the back yard, and you can look forward to a fun time to celebrate the almost-start of summer with your fellow Mt. Si friends. Everyone welcome!

Mt Si Food Bank

Mount Si Lutheran is a proud supporter of the Mt Si Food Bank. The food bank, sponsored by the Snoqualmie Valley Ministerial Association, has been providing food at no cost to our hungry neighbors for the past 35 years. In 1972, the food bank provided food to about 50 people per week, today that number has increased to over 775 per week. The food bank is now serving 220-230 families and single adults every week. Needless to say, the growth in need has a direct relation to the amount of food that must acquire, store, prepare, and distribute. History
Mount Si Lutheran has been an integral part of the community of North Bend, Washington for over 60 years. The Church is a beautiful white steepled church that has been blessed by it's members and visitors. Ground breaking service for the new Mount Si Lutheran Church building started in December of 1950. Mount Si StainglassFinancing initially came from loans & donations from members of the congregation, and later from a mission loan fund. Labor was provided by members of the congregation who worked at their regular jobs during the day then spent many evenings and weekends at the church. Everyone helped in some way to support the effort. On November 11, 1951 the first services was held in the basement of the new church with 117 in attendance, double the number of members who had started the church just two years earlier.
